Lauren brings over ten years of experience in the Corporate Finance market, having gained significant experience with Bibby Financial Services. Throughout her tenure, she has facilitated deals for a wide range of clients, from startups to significant multimillion-pound turnover international businesses, across a wide range of sectors, including precision engineering and recruitment.
Lauren thrives on building relationships with clients from diverse sectors, gaining a deep understanding of their industries and business operations. She is enthusiastic about enhancing her M&A expertise while working closely with the Translink team and our clients.
Outside of work, Lauren loves spending time with her young family and organising holiday trips.
Henry joined the Transaction Services team in 2024 after graduating from Lancaster University with a BSc (Hons) in Economics and Finance. During his training, he spent time in the Audit and Accounts department, gaining a solid foundation in financial reporting and analysis. He now supports the team on financial due diligence projects, assisting with the assessment of target businesses and preparation of key deliverables for clients. Henry is currently studying towards the ACA qualification.
Outside of work, Henry enjoys golf – enthusiastically, if not expertly – and spending time with friends. He’s always keen to try new restaurants and rarely says no to good food or a night out.
Chloe joined the BHP audit team in 2020 as part of the firm’s graduate scheme, following her graduation with a first-class BSc (Hons) degree in Mathematics. After qualifying, she undertook a secondment to the Transaction Services team, where she discovered a strong interest in corporate finance. She joined the team permanently in 2024.
As a Transaction Services Executive, Chloe specialises in the analysis of financial data and supports the preparation of detailed reports for a range of clients, including private equity houses and debt funders.
Outside of work, Chloe enjoys cooking and baking, going on countryside walks with her husband, and regularly attends Bounce fitness classes.
I joined Translink in August of 2024 on a placement year as a corporate finance analyst. I am currently a student at the University of Loughborough studying economics and will graduate in 2026. My main role in the team is completing research projects for both buy-side and sell-side mandates and producing business valuations using precedent deal information.
Outside of work, I am a big rugby fan, playing since the age of 8 and still playing currently every Saturday during the rugby season. I am also a fan of golf and try and get a round in every other week if I can.
Lauren joined the team in 2024, bringing 4 years of experience in the accounting industry. During her first 4 years in the accounting profession, Lauren worked in Audit alongside studying for her chartered accountancy exams (ACA). Lauren qualified as a chartered accountant and became a member of the ICAEW in 2024.
Lauren enjoys connecting with clients across a wide variety of sectors and prioritises gaining a thorough understanding of their industries and how their businesses operate. Lauren is eager to further expand her expertise in M&A as she continues to collaborate with the Translink team and our clients.

Alex joined Translink Corporate Finance in 2024 from a national independent accountancy firm, where he worked in Audit & Assurance and qualified as an ACA chartered accountant. Prior to this, he graduated from the University of Sheffield with a degree in Economics.
His role mainly entails preparing materials and financial analysis to assist in the marketing of transactions, in addition to conducting research projects for potential buyers and acquisition targets and liaising with international colleagues to help facilitate cross-border interest in client deals.
Outside of work, Alex enjoys watching/playing football, skiing, music, travel and (fair-weather) golf.
James is an ACA chartered account with a decade of financial services experience and holds the CISI Corporate Finance Qualification. He started his career in financial advisory services before transitioning into audit and, subsequently, corporate finance.
Over the last four years, James has worked closely with owner-managed businesses and listed entities, providing both sell-side transaction support and buy-side financial advice. He has worked with clients in a range of sectors, including healthcare, construction, specialist engineering, asset management and insurance.
When outside the office, James will typically spend his time riding his motorbike or attending race events around the UK.

Operating from two sites in Heckmondwike and Rotherham NFG consists of four market facing divisions Heckmondwike, Paragon, Playrite and Mat.Works. The group has been under family ownership for over 60 years, dominating the educational sector with its Supacord product since the early 1970s.
NFG has been under family ownership for over 60 years and this transaction allowed the Shareholders the opportunity to crystalise their value on exit. Nimbus specialise in hands on investments and target businesses where they can add operational improvements to enhance returns.

With over €260m of sales in 2022/23, Sterimed can now count on 1 500 fully committed associates in 24 sites around the world, including 14 manufacturing facilities.
Headquartered in Derby, Riverside has over the past 45 years, become a leading UK provider of tailored contract packing services for the medical device industry, housing 12 cleanrooms (3 Class 8 & 9 Class 7) with significant thermoforming production capabilities. Under the trade name Aseptic Medical Devices (AMD), the company has also successfully developed multi-packed syringes and medical devices in a format designed exclusively for the production of aseptically manufactured parenterals for hospital pharmacists and compounders.
This acquisition is complementary to Sterimed’s existing operations and allows the group to further strengthen its service offering to medical device manufacturers. It also accelerates its strategic growth into pharma applications.

Prior to his time on placement, Milo worked for a SaaS business and the Civil Service. During his time at Translink UK he has had the opportunity to further his understanding of these industries as well as broaden his experience into adjacent markets.
Outside of work, Milo is a Liverpool fan who enjoys spending time with friends and family and his two dogs.

Martin leads our specialist Transaction Services team. He is a Chartered Accountant with around 25 years of experience working in practice, and has specialised in corporate finance for over 15 years. Over that time Martin has gained a wide range of transactional experience working on UK and cross-border acquisitions, fund raisings, disposals, and public flotations.
Martin now focuses solely on the due diligence field of corporate finance, working with clients such as large corporates, owner-managed businesses, and financial institutions. He also spent some time on secondment in industry, overseeing the post-acquisition integration of a client of his with a business that he advised them on acquiring.
Outside of the deals environment Martin enjoys spending time with his family, adventures in the great outdoors, competing in long distance running events, and following Bradford City Football Club.
Luke joined Translink Corporate Finance in 2021 following 4 years at EY where he trained as a Chartered Accountant. He has been involved in a range of sales mandates, MBOs, MBIs and has conducted market research across a variety of industries. He is a member of his region’s ICAEW committee and often attends events to keep up to date with market trends.
During his downtime, Luke enjoys spending time with his family, following the recent birth of his daughter, trying his luck in the kitchen, playing snooker (albeit poorly) and following Leeds United.

Declan has over eight years’ experience of providing corporate finance advice to owner managers and ambitious management teams. In recent years he has advised on a number of company sales, corporate acquisitions and MBOs for clients across a range of sectors including automotive, TMT, industrial and healthcare.
In 2019 he was named Emerging Dealmaker of the Year at the Insider Sheffield City Region Dealmakers Awards.
Charles has been involved in delivering deal making and corporate finance advice for over five years after qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 2015.
A member of the Transaction Services team, Charles now specialises in the due diligence field of corporate finance, having previously gained extensive lead advisory experience in both sell side and buy side roles, as well as a six-month secondment with an established private equity investment company.
He has substantial experience in a wide range of due diligence engagements including buy-side for both corporate and private equity transactions and sell-side due diligence.

Ellie joined the Translink Corporate Finance team in March 2023 and continues working towards her final ACA exam. Her previous role was within a national accountancy practice within their audit team, which is where she began her ACA studies.
With a degree in Biomedical Sciences, Ellie studied at Newcastle University completing her degree in 2020.
Since joining the team, Ellie has been involved in various sale mandates and buy-side mandates. She has also provided research across different sectors, performed data and forecast analysis and worked on forecast preparation and report creation.

Outside of work, Lorna is the office adrenaline junkie being a keen skydiver and wind tunnel flier, having recently competed in the indoor wind tunnel national championships. On a sunny weekend, you’re more than likely to find her flying at 14,000 feet in the air!
Amanda joined the exciting world of finance at an early age. She has over 15 years’ experience working closely with privately and family-owned businesses across a wide range of sectors but has specific involvement with retail, manufacturing, business services and construction. Amanda has spent over three years working at a senior level in industry, most recently within a PLC. This has given her unique industry experience, spending over three years in commercial and operational roles.
Outside of the corporate world, Amanda will often be found with her nose in a lonely planet guide, planning her next trip; learning the rules to a new board game (and sticking to them) or in the kitchen striving to provide the perfect cake to satisfy the sweet tooth of the office.
Having started a career in the leisure industry Andy changed track to choose the more exciting world of accountancy and became ACA Chartered Accountant in 2019.
He has gained experience as an auditor in a range of sectors manufacturing, retail, automotive, construction, and academies. Recently he worked in-house for a large manufacturing corporate with 4 UK businesses and a global network of manufacturing sites. Andy’s role included overseeing the finance team and preparing corporate reports for the board.
Outside of work he enjoys pursuing his triathlon hobby, having completed a half Ironman he is training for the full Ironman putting us all to shame.

Charlotte joined Translink Corporate Finance in 2020 from EY’s Transaction Services team in Leeds, where she qualified and gained over six and a half years’ transactional experience, which included spending five months on international secondment to Copenhagen.
