Translink Corporate Finance in the UK acted as the exclusive advisor to the shareholders of Alpha Instrumatics on the sale to Halma Plc.
Alpha Instrumatics, renowned for its world-leading trace moisture analysis technology, plays a pivotal role in advancing safety measures within industrial operations, streamlining hydrocarbon transfers, and elevating pollutant detection precision. Its devices find applications in high-growth sectors including industrial gas and aerospace, as well as aligning with the evolving energy transition.
Halma Plc, a FSTE 100 company, successfully acquired Alpha Instrumatics through its environmental and analysis subsidiary, Alicat Scientific. Halma, recognising the strategic significance, emphasised that the acquisition would expand Alicat’s product portfolio, bolstering its footprint in both existing and adjacent markets.
