Congratulations to the 13 brave Translink Corporate Finance team for successfully jumping from a height of 15,000 ft in a charity skydive in support of three amazing charities.
Taking deal advisory to new heights, the team jumped from a plane on Wednesday 10 July and raised an incredible amount that was more than £6,500 for mental health charity Mind, children’s cancer charity Candlelighters and the UK’s leading dementia charity Alzheimer’s Society.
All money raised will be distributed equally to help them in the amazing work they perform daily.
The Translink skydiving team comprised of Amelia Winterson, Charlotte Chaplin, Ellie Jacobs, Erin Ellis, Declan Savage, Hamish Morrison, Joe Briggs, Jovinda Hussnain, Matt Scott, Nicola Fish, Oliver Butterworth, Will Holmes and Will Sykes.
Matt Scott, Translink Corporate Finance Partner, said: “I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has donated to our skydive charity challenge. We’ve raised an impressive amount and have exceeded our original target.
“I think I speak on behalf of everyone who took part, that although we were slightly nervous (and excited!) before we took the jump, we had an amazing time!
“The money will now go towards the three benefitting charities Mind, Candlelighters and Alzheimer’s Society.
“Well done to every team member who took part and conquered their fears to help raise money for charity – your efforts are truly appreciated.”
We’d like to say thank you to everyone for their support and donations. If you can donate, head to our fundraising page here.
